There are additional factors that should also be taken into consideration. Many students will also have siblings attending schools with them, or for the first time ever (for those entering kindergarten or pre-K). All of the siblings are looking forward to having the big brother or big sister around to help show them the ropes or help ease the transition of being away from home, or riding the bus. These are natural bonding experiences that many families enjoy and look forward to and now will be taken away. Logistical situations of getting little ones to and from school will also be impacted by splitting the children up. If I wanted to have them go to one school over the other, I would have moved into that district.

This town is to large mileage wise to have to bus the children, especially the k and younger / elementary age children. Think if the kids and not the pocket book. We pay high enough taxes in this town ( Wareham). Think of the children first , they deserve better treatment. Thank you
