Hatless, sunscreen-less .For the past 5 years I’ve been taking my 5 year old grandson to the same playground. He wears a hat, is slathered with sun screen, and the sun is SO burning hot we can’t stay there too long on a Sunny day. During the summer also, I come across young people who find it difficult to breathe on days that have high humidity or bright sun. I am 72 and in good health, but in the summer I have to keep track of the “air” quality / temp/and humidity and have to make my decision to go “outside” or not. Something is very very wrong. We have to fix what we can fix starting now. We can not let the Oil Companies and Industrial waste producers destroy our world, poison our air and earth, kill creatures large and small to extinction any longer. Our children should NOT have to face the future having to wear Hazmat gear.
