We have no confidence in the Tamar Group who are proposing this as they have never run a plant in their existence. Dont make them lose any more as a result of an area that would become uninhabitable due to the impact of environmental factors. We want to encourage new residents to cannock not put them off. People should not have their homes affected by this. Cannock Chase as an AONB needs to be protected for the benefit of all and particularly to protect the local economy which benefits considerably because of it.</p> <p>At 200ft tall, the facility will be an environmental blight on the landscape and considerably damage the vista of the western edge of Cannock Chase around Huntington.</p> <p>Additionally, the narrow country road of Cocksparrow Lane, where the site is planned is too small to cope with the traffic that will be generated by such a site. With the increased large vehicular traffic coming and going from the proposed larger waste facility and on a more regular basis there will no doubt be FATALATIES on this stretch of road and I FEAR DEATHS will occure involving commuting residents and these larger waste transporting vehicles. Cocksparrow Lane is after all a LANE and not adiquate to take this sort of larger traffic on an even more regular basis. My youngest suffers from asthma & I feel that not only is this facility going to affect their enjoyment of school in general, but may also cause health implications for my youngest & any other children who suffer from respiratory illnesses.
