1. A moral basis due to the behavior of Durkan. This cannot under any circumstances be encouraged by acquiescence. It will set an awful precedent in the otherwise beautiful area of Victoria Park.

2. The design is atrocious and very out of keeping with the local area.

3. A height more than 4 storeys will indeed block the light of so many of the surrounding neigbours, one of which is me.

4. The lack of social housing is an outrage.

You have to ask why Durkans went through the charade of the new design for which they were granted planning in May 09 after lengthy consultation with residents and interested parties? Was this all a sham?
