I think the neighbourhood pays a high price for the little compensation given by the developer to refurbish the train station. A devaluation of their properties and day to day problems with an infrastructure not meant to tackle the additional needs of 500 apartments will be only the tip of the iceberg of problems arising for the inhabitants of the area.

I can't imagine why so many horrid modern buildings have already been put up here and these two huge developments (Ram Brewery and Clapham Junction) will be the last straw.

storeys and even this would have a significant impact on the feel of the area. People will regret it for generations if this is allowed to go through.
