Anonymous
The vast development at St George's Wharf has already put pressure on the infrastructure and facilities in vauxhall. The adverse environmental impact, such as wind tunnels, have also been very noticeable. More development would be good for Vauxhall, but it needs to be sustainable, low-rise units which blend into and enhance what is already here.

Miss Elisabeth Henshall, London, United Kingdom
I'm extremely unhappy that Lambeth are considering such an huge building so close to Vauxhall Park. I live in Langley Lane and not only will this cut down on the light in our gardens and Vauxhall par, but the tube, bus & train stations are already at capacity - the tube station is frequently swamped and crowds of passengers are left queuing to get down into the station itself - this additional 49 storey building will cause untold problems with so many additional residents moving into the area!!

Also blight on much loved Victorian conservation area; will cast deep shadows; strain overstretched public services; better to develop small much needed amenities and workspaces-low rise building that blends in with the area and enhances it rather than this monstrosity- the wrong building in the wrong place.
Andrea Hofling, London
- No prior provision for the necessary infrastructure.
- the sky scrapers (incl. Octave) will overshadow not just the adjacent low rise areas, but each other, creating unpleasant dark & drafty conditions, especially at ground level.
- the cluster is to be sited directly on or next to Vauxhall Cross (very busy traffic interchange with pollution levels exceeding EU limits. Ideal for families? No additional green spaces planned.
- ill conceived and undemocratic (no or limited public consultation).

Miss Alice Olver
I work with a lady who lives in Vauxhall and she is very dedicated to her community and loves where she lives, this is because Vauxhall is an individual and vibrant place. High rise towers would mar the environment and take away the individuality of this very special borough. Please consider the effects that this will have on a unique place and the people living there.

Mr James Fraser, London, United Kingdom
I implore LB Lambeth to consider the negative impact on local communities adversely affected by such high rise developments before making their decision to grant Planning permission. The negative impact on the microclimate, noise levels and already stretched local facilities and transport links out weighs any positive impact. Also the existing Victorian building on Bondway is one of the few remaining heritage buildings in Vauxhall and should be preserved and enhanced.
