When I arrived at the hospital in the ambulance to go into the hospital; they refused to let me in until we paid R2800 (two thousand eight hundred Rand)
friends and family were running around frantically to all ATM'S trying to find some ATM open with no luck; there I was waiting in the Ambulance critical and they would not let me in until we paid; even though we had platinum medical card; my wife was going frantic and then she said; will you except a cheque, and they said OK; It's all about money, not people.
On a list on the wall they stated what medical aids they do not except; yet, we thought we were on a well known company.
We found out that many doctors and hospitals would not except our medical aid because they pay very badly. as a patient in a critical position; it is the most disgusting situation thing I ever heard of; we lost hundreds of thousand;
