Residents local to the park do not deserve the noise, illegal parking, drug abuse, crime and stabbings that these events attract. The security that Redbridge Council supply is woefully inadequate and is incapable of managing the crowds.

Please consider how frightening it is for local residents to live near such bad behaviour. The volume of the music is also far too high.

As a Redbridge resident I hate these festivals. When stabbings occurred at one we had police helicopters circling overheard for nearly an hour at 11pm. Silver cannisters are dangerous when left in streets and can cause an accident if trodden on., roadsweeping lorries can't be relied on to pick them up. Fields and verges in the forest have been churned up by the event and it is going to take ages to put right if the rain continues. When politicians make pledges to protect our green belt maybe they should consider the damage caused to our wildlife by these events.
