I am extremely upset that yet again financial interests have been put before conservation interests. Donald Trump says that the people of Scotland want this golf course. I am Scottish and I certainly DO NOT want this golf course development, which will ruin a beautiful and remote part of Scotland. I was even more upset to find out that opportunities to help safeguard the environment as part of the development have been ignored. I will not be voting SNP again.

What is the point in having a planning authority council if the government can override any decisions they make. clearly abdn council didnt think the golf plan was 'sustainable' plan. this now means that the public cannot use that part of the cost line due to two golf courses being constructed which means only people who have the funds will be able to enjoy that part of the coast line.

Please live up to your sustainable future claims and not just use that word to gain votes. The S.N.P. was doing fine until this issue and now I think the failure to engage and satisfy all parties will lose you support and votes. Scottish tourism and golf is being tainted. It is not too late. Last round aggreements and compromises are necessary to remedy this loss of biodiversity.
