Mr. Josh Lynn, San Antonio, TX, United States of America
European based players are far better than MLS without a doubt. I wonder about how the ego clash on the Euro based team. MLS will work hard, clash legs around for pride (kinda dangerous and a bit divisive for NT unity) and finally get too tired to stop Euro base clinical precision. I like it in theory but talent gap and potential to get 'pride & ego' mixed up can be destructive.

Honestly, I want to see a 4 v 4 maybe 7s scrimmage but a hyped up game might cause MLS lose their professional cool. National teams need to be all about unity like Latifah. You can't have MLS guys feeling small-time and resentful or Euros clashing over who is best for the team. Both sides need each other, you have glue guys that work and skill players to finish.

And Bradley is our Xavi! If he roams and play lil wide in 4-3-3 then a Jones pairing might click with him cleaning up the middle. While Altidore needs to experiment, maybe on wing? He is not in sync. If the Euro based get on same page they will roll. And then they can finally CHANGE how Americans view soccer. Klinsmann is developing their eye and skill for the beautiful game. And MLS guys need to learn and by working hard then can contribute too.

Colin Reese, Tucson, AZ, United States of America
Klinsmann has good intentions, but he appears to be a coach unwilling to truly test out all of the talented players at his disposal to find out how well the United States can play. Much of the experimentation that Klinsmann needs to do is with players whose talent has never been questioned. Klinsmann was a fabulous player, and he is a nice person. But, the continued failure to attempt to correct problems with the defense, the amount of possession, and the amount of shots on goals indicates that he is unwilling to make needed changes or that he simply makes adjustments far too slowly. At this stage there is an abundance of talent in the U.S., and it needs to be fairly evaluated in order to improve the level of the U.S.' play.

Anonymous, Dover, Delaware, United States of America
This is a good way to give the people exactly what they want. A roster of players with the most talent, technical skills, and the hunger to be the best and represent the United States. With this game, Jurgen Klinsmann can no longer play favorites when it means so much to us to have the best on the pitch.
