Group gatherings were commn for us as youth as a cheap getaway.Restricting public access by motorized vehicles takes away from our current rights and just paves the way for commercialized recreation at public locations
for only certain groups to profit from public land.Atv Utv and 4x4 are always increasing in numbers and we are charged additional fees for use so why all the fees on atv's and no allowed recreational public use

My son and I usually gather around 5 or 6 large trash bags full of trash, diapers, bottles, cans and anything you can imagine that people just dump and leave there. For this area by Needle Rock, it would be a good idea to have a campground host in place who could gather license plate numbers of the slobs who leave their campsites like pigs. I am sick of the majority of good people being penalized for the actions of a few slobs that could care less about anyone else. Fine them severely when caught and ban them from the forest if caught littering. Keep the river open, I have friends who are in wheelchairs that love to fish and camp in the area, they will not be able to get to the river if it is walk in only. That is a sad option.

I used to ride Sycamore Creek area and everywhere in the local Phoenix area. The trusted leaders of this area have ruined what I loved about Arizona by shutting down all of the riding areas. You had us get our OFF-ROAD VEHICLES tittled and licenced so that you could cut down on off road riding. Not many citiZens have tittles to there OR vehicles and there is no grandfathering. It seems the funds where used to close off,shut down,gate,make impenatrable to us OR enthusists. If we only have one small sectiion to play in,over usage will be the next excuse that we will here to shut down our lands.

Im to the point that with the steep fines and the restriced riding areas. That the powers that be are attemting to eliminate the off-road industry,take away more of our freedoms and control us through bordom.

I pay taxes and dont feel that my part of the freedoms I support are getting very freedomless. Off-road vehicles are made to go off-road. The ones that I own are starting to feel like they need to hit the local golf courses and city parks. Can you see me doing a backflip off a bunker in the builtmore. STOPit

We urge you to re-think closing any more public riding areas. Our group and several others I know of spends a substantial amount of money in the Greater Phoenix and surrounding areas. When you finally manage to eliminate all of the fun and interesting places to ride, there will be a significant impact to the local economy, as we will choose to travel and spend elsewhere. I do see a grteat deal of pollution in all Arizona desert riding areas compared to other places we have ridden. I think money would be better spent on education, and trash collection receptacles in staging areas. Please keep this area open !
