Now my daughter is almost homeless and DHMAS is not doing anything to prevent it. I am also a mother screaming for help for my daughter. So i do identify with Alex and her mother. Every day I pray that my daughter, Cindy, doesn't end up like Alex. I hurt for my daughter and all the young adults that are suffering from mental illness and the state is not doing anything to minimize their plain.

I helped plant the tree that was set up for her as a tribute and memoriam, and when I was outside my unit and wandering the grounds, I would often stop by that tree.
