Limiting the number of children to 7 is absurd. The garden is huge and equipped not only with two climbing frames, but a trampoline, a sandpit and a garden-house in the making. Kids of all ages love it outside and their imagination is always stimulated in such a brilliant environment. I hate discriminating against individuals and friendship groups just because of one number.

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever why the number of children in the garden should not be increased. The kids are always occupied outside so there is never much noise apart from children's laughter. Furthermore, we have more than enough staff and space to make sure that more than 7 people are happy outside.

I hope that Croydon Council takes this petition very seriously indeed. In times like these, flourishing businesses should be fully supported instead of needlessly curtailed.

For 3 years she has had the freedom and advantage of being able to use the outdoor space at all times. Nancy has learned to grow and harvest a variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers as well as learn about and look for wildlife and bugs! Many of these products they eat (not bugs)or display and so much educational learning has come of that. The garden also has a beautiful trampoline and garden equipment for them to enjoy. The nursery has more than enough staff to support and look after the children. I regularly drop into the nursery during the day, as i work very nearby, and i have never heard excessive noise or any distruption as the children are well supervised and occupied with activities. The children all have wonderful relationships with eachother and the older ones support the younger ones to explore. I feel it is so wrong to only allow 7 out at a time and restrict the natural flow they have from being in the house and wanting quality and quanitiy time outside. The staff and myself as a parent believe so strongly that the children should not be restricted, but should themselves dictate.

The premises has nursery status or it does not. In which case the number should be inreased. As long as the carer to children ratio is maintained, then that is what I care about. It is ridiculous capping the amount of children to such a low amount. It will mean there will always be more children inside that out and ti will be impossible to have group outside activities such as teh Kiddie olympics which many nurseries are having over the comign weeks. It is quite unfair to limited the children and say only half can play outside on a nice day and the others have to play inside. Try explaining that to a 2 yr old.
Children make noise they jabber they chatter, that is the way they communicate with each other. To share there laughter thats what makes them more enjoyable to watch.
