This is going to hurt the number of bears killed each year and it is going to cause the bear population to expload. We need to do what ever we can to encourage more hunters to take a bear each year not charge them more for it. WVa has gone this route several years ago and now we are over run wit bears and it will be exactly that here in Va. Plus, I am certain deer hunting brings in more revenue each year, so we need to do what ever we can to increase the deer population and the number of deer taken each year, not the number of bears that kill the deer and run the hunters out of the woods. People and hunters are naturally afraid of bear and an increase in bear population will certainly affect the number of hunters in the woods in a bad way.
