That's so ignorant of them. To me, it makes vets look like they only do it for the money instead of the fact that they love animals and want to help them. It is a good point about them saying its just animal, would a doctor say that about a child? It's just a kid. If we could go to jail for animal abuse than and doctors can get in trouble for denying a person who doesn't have insurance then so should vets.

All the Vets in my area charge a $200-$300.00 fee in order to make an appt. They will refund what they don't use. Whatever happened to the country doctor feeling? Also after hour (emergency vets don't know what they are doing but they know how to charge.
