Perfection is not a real thing, it is a perception. Peter Molyneaux's view on what makes a perfect fable is not at all widely shared by the games audience. There are three ways things can go down when it comes to expanding this franchise. 1 they can make the same game over and over until the core fan base simply tires of the things that kept them loving the game, 2 they can do the opposite and throw out all the things that made the first game great and attempt to find a new audience, 3 they can study there audience and make the game that everyone wants instead of the game about Peter Molyneaux attempt's to fix that which is not broken. The fable franchise needs to regain there balance of non-linear emotional story depth, core gameplay, and rpg elements. It can be done, the creators of fable TLC can learn a thing or two on what made skyrim so successful, if they listen to the fans they will be back in the competition. One can only hope...

It would be a shame of "Fable: the Journey" to be the swan song of the franchise.
