When I was 18 I dropped out of school. Finally I did graduate in 2004. But that being sad, there was nothing anyone could do to make me stay in school. Mind you I did have the support from my mother;) to return back to school but this not being in forced in the school system itself I decided not to. Every job I had did need the qualifation of a grade 12 diaploma but, I some how got the jobs anyways. I now have 2 children of my own, and know how hard it is going to be:)

I want her to enter a system where she is supported on all levels. The system we have now is very political within and I feel that the educators have no support between themselves, parents, administration and the students. This is the reason many of the new teachers life time dream is broken when they become part of the system. I do not wish that for my daughter.
