I was 20 years old in October, 1995. My aunt
is a three year survivor of Breast Cancer so I
know I am at high risk but, I also have a disability with seizures that might make a
doctor turn against me wanting to have a
bilateral prophylactic mastectomy even if I
claim Medicaid for it. That is why I set this
petition in the first place. Secondly like I said
the disabled have the same rights of others.

high risk factors and heredity issues and dont have the money to pay for the procedure. Disabled women especially who
are at high risk for this disease should
consult their doctor and Medicaid provider
before having it done. They should have the
same rights as other patients. That is where
I stand on this issue.
