I would like to see the formation of a new league that has a long term strategy for success (read: actually playing hockey consistently year after year). The ownership and the players association should operate as a partnership with mutual respect, understanding that they both need the other for continued success. It shouldn't be this difficult to reach a fair agreement everyone can be happy with.
