He has the job of being an offensive coordinator and calling plays based on his professionalism. Through his obvious actions he has proven to be incompetent and many great offensive plays the Seahawks have accomplished in the past 2 years were plays that were conducted after Bevell's original play calls were overturned and then called by either Carroll and/or Wilson. His play calling is either too predictable and/or too reckless under particular circumstances whether it's the Super Bowl or the losses against Kansas City and Dallas in the 2014 season.

He puts blame on the QB and Receiver when he put them in a tough decision in the first place that wasn't necessary. He continually fails to correctly weigh the risk/reward scenario over time. His mistakes have been covered by the success of the defense. For these reasons, he needs to be LET GO.

We have all seen the play a thousand times but the one replay you have to watch was the camera that was BEHIND Wilson. It pretty much shows you what Wilson saw......a very narrow route to throw the ball quickly. I think the throw was GOOD, receiver looking for the ball and not Butler....great interception. N.E. had 3 DB's, Seattle 4 receivers......Lynch was OPEN but Wilson did not look left because this was to be a QUICK pass on an inside slant. AGAIN....the WRONG PASS PLAY. Bevell called it and Carroll fell on the sword because it did not work. Gamble when down 7 with 6 seconds to the half.....fine.....whole second half to recover if you fail.....NOT with 20 seconds left in the game. Bevell's plays are NOT working for this team during the season, never mind the NFC conference game or the Super Bowl. It is time for a change or else Wilson will be the highest paid QB running for his life on 1/2 of his plays. Bevell will not resign so that leaves one option. Bevell's offensive play calling will ultimately wear down the defense through being on the field too long and injuries.
