I beleive smoking should be banned everywhere in canada, When i am driving with my parents or just sitting in the home with them they constantly are smoking and even if i tell them that it is making me short winded they dont listen. Lets show big corporations that we will not allow them to do this to canadians.

i would like e-cigs legal in canada. i am 29 and dieing of chronic bronchitis and see e-cigs as a healthy alternative . the government should ban old tobacco and have these instead. would save on health care and pro-long life. canada government has no heart until they legalize E-cigs!

I believe that this is the answer to becoming smoke free, not nicotine free, however that is an option. This technology will save many lives, create jobs, and make Canada a much cleaner environmentally friendly place. Everything in an electronic cigarette can be recycled instead of tossed on the ground or into some smelly box on the side of a public building.

I want a safer alternative for my Mom, who refuses any non-nicotine alternative, thus, continues regular smoking, despite health risks. There are safer nicotine liquids for e-cigarettes out there. They don't all come from China (i.e. Johnson Creek products states its ingredients clearly).

I bought a kit in the states and it really worke for me as an aid to quit smoking real cigs. Not that I need to purchase refills I have found that I cannot get them shipped to Canada. Now I have wasted $230 on the kit and I'm smoking tobacco again! Please repeal this ridiculous ban! I don't want to feel crappy anymore!

When dealing with every other substance addiction, Health Canada subscribes to the "harm reduction" model of treatment (eg. methadone programs, needle exchanges). Electronic cigarettes are merely a way of reducing the harm caused by a substance addiction through a cleaner delivery system. Two years is more than enough time to evaluate the health effects of this simple delivery system, stop shortening smoker's lives.

It makes me angry that we can get real cigarettes, nicotine patches, nicotine gum and the likes but not the e cigarette! This product will allows me deal with the physical habit as well as the addiction. Regular cigs are hurting me already as well as my children. The e cig will reduce the negative impact on my kids and help me to eventually break free to a healthier environment.

I used to live in Canada about 37 years ago at a time when it was a smoker's paradise. It has come so far in improving that image. Allowing this simple modification to current policy will help more people to "kick the habit" for good!

The elctronic cigarette nicotine inhaler should be available for sale in Canada. Its no different than the Nicorette Inhaler. Since using the esmoke, I have not smoked a traditional cigarette in almost two weeks. My lungs feel clearer, I am not as short of breath. Please allow the sale of nicotine containing esmoke inhalers in Canada. I wish for my friends and family who smoke to be able to break the habit of their toxic tabbaco consumption. Its helping me...let it help others too.
