Since my niece was born in 07 I've seen her the majority of her life. And as for my nephew born '14 I've seen him almost everyday. As a matter of fact I watched him5-6days a week since November of '14( he was born in July). Words can't describe my love for these children. They're been everything to me. As of about a week ago my sister an I have had a falling out. Custody for my nephew hasn't been set yet but as for my niece her father is not in the pic. My sister broke out the window of her ex's house and I wrote a statement against her.( I live right next to the home) she has since banned me from seeing my niece and nephew. It's not fair to them or to me to keep us separated! Our argument has nothing to do with the children. Something should be done. Aunt and uncles love their nieces and nephew too!!! It's killing me not to see them on a daily or almost daily bases anymore. My niece has tried to contact me but my sister has done everything she can to prevent it. Please change this so we can be together again!

Note that they mean physical because situations like this obviously have a negative effect on a Childs emotional welfare. Children aren't a pawn in a game and are not a weapon to hurt each other. Criminals can get legal aid, child abusers, sex attackers, murderes but a family member who show nothing but love are screwed. Its about time the selfish spiteful parents think about the children and not them selves. They need to think about what the children must be feeling. As an adult the parent with custody knows what's going on and knows that they decide whos allowed to see who. They express what bitter feelings they have by doing what this states. Yet the children are told the bitter and often twisted side of the not so true but personal feelings of the parent who clearly are on some sort of power trip. Its disgusting... FAMILY is the reason we exist and its thrown in peoples faces when they don't bother. Fathers are soon summond to court for CSA. Grrrr

I have taken care of my niece since she was 18 months old until one week ago she is now 10, she and my daughter are 4 months apart! Every other weekend spring break weeks during summer my niece came and stayed with me she was included in every trip or vacation I planned for myself and children, since court her mother is mad and said she can come over when her dad has her which is not often bc he travels for work another reason I was able to keep her!
