I was led to believe that the work on the building would be completed by the end of January 2012 when I signed my lease the end of Dec. 2011. I was not made aware there would be loss of use of amenities and that the work would continue around the rest of the building. I was given a $500 deduction on the first month for the inconvenience. So I thought this would all be over with by the end of January 2012. Needless to say I am not very happy since I am paying top rent!

I feel the quality of life has diminished considerablly since the construction has started. It effects my privacy, I no longer have any place for my pet outside, I have concerns for safety as strangers have open view into my loft, lost use of my balcony, have no view, my plants are dead, and the management has made the situation worse with their approach to the whole project. My sleep time on my vacation was even lost due to noise and I could no longer take work calls from home.

MAKE THE NOISE STOP! We deserve some sort of compensation, not cocktail parties on the roof!
