As a youth and community worker I have seen over 30 youth centers closed throughout RCT in the last year with youth provision moving into schools, this doesn't work, it excludes those who have been excluded from school, these are the very people who need somewhere to go and have role models to follow. Closing the YMCA would be a detriment to Hirwaun and would result in increased anti social behavior, and who could blame them...
