During hunting season we se so many beagles and other hunting dogs on side of highways and simply roaming with no home, food or shelter. Many are dead on the roadsides. The hunters leave them to fend for themselves , anvery in humane act. There should be severe fines and punishment and they should be held accountable.

They are left to starve or get killed by a car or who knows what. I know there are some responsible hunters who don't allow this to happen, but I've seen hundreds of starving or dead hunting dogs over many years and it breaks my heart.
