I walk through Westfield every day when traveling to school and have to be very conscious of people smoking around me. It would be great if there were specific areas to smoke.

I go through the hornsby westfield very often to and from school. Every time i find myself holding my breath and walking very quickly through the way where there hasnt been a time where i HAVENT seen anyone there NOT smoking. Sometimes i go the long way through the shopping centre to avoid the smoke. A few times i see people smoking around pregnant woman or parents with children, or sometimes they are smoking themselves!! I would appreciate it a lot if something could be done for this situation. Thanks a lot for those who made this petition :)

I travel to and from school every morning, this requires me to travel through westfield. My friends and I always get infected by the smoke from smokers. There should be designated areas for smokers as hundred of students pass through westfield experiencing the damage of second hand smoking.

I hate it when people smoke in treeline avenue and at other places where I have to walk to and from school. I think many other Hornsby Girls' students are with me when I say that it is beyond disgusting to have to breathe in the toxic chemicals that come out of smokers' mouths and cigarettes.

Hornsby mall outdoor areas should be more like pubs and universities current policies - smokers are not isolated in a dark alleyway or anything but do have multiple separate areas to smoke, still in nice areas within the vicinity of other people so they are not completely excluded.

I recently had dinner at Bluwater Grill at Hornsby Westfield. We sat inside to avoid smoke, but there was a designated outdoor smoking area just outside and the smoke came straight back in. We complained to a waiter, who brought over the manager. She blatantly lied to us about the smoking area, telling us that they opened up the side when they obviously hadn't. I will never go back there again. Why should non-smokers have to put up with the filthy, disgusting habits of others?
