WHAT ARE FAMILIES GOING TO DO NOW FOR OUR CHILDREN AT CHRISTMAS AND THEIR BIRTHDAYS? WALMART DONT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT FAMILIES. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY. YOU ARE HEARTLESS. ALOT OF CHILDREN ARE GOING TO BE HEARTBROKEN THIS CHRISTMAS ALL BECAUSE OF WALMART DOING AWAY WITH LAYAWAY.

Walmart has always had my Holiday shopping but now I am forced to have to shop Christmas at K-mart. (Not because I want to, It's because I will have to.) I'm worried my children won't have much of a Christmas.
Walmart should think of the kids and at LEAST have a Christmas Lay-a-Way!!!

I shop for my house, friends and family there for all occasions. I recommend to young adults who are starting life on their own to get what they need at Walmart. I advise to them if they can't afford everything at once to use their great layaway plan. I really am so disappointed that Walmart forgot about the little people who spend all they earned in their stores.

This is just another feather in my hat as to why I should NOT shop there. My second home in Tenn. sits between 2 Wal-Marts, I pass both of them and drive an extra 10-15 minutes to grocery shop. I will not purchase anything from there, unless under pressure. I once was an avid Wal-Mart customer. Ever since Sam passed away, this company continues to spiral away from his beliefs, which was why I started to shop there in the first place. Now lay-away.

Mr Jeff Hughes, Millington, TN, United States of America
As a military family, wal-mart was the choice for shopping. It was chosen over Target for the layaway service. The program allows some people the opportunity to pay out goods that they cannot afford to buy outright. Regardless of many people's misconception, not all people qualify for or use credit and choose layaway as an alternative for purchase of school clothes, holiday gifts, etc... I urge walmart to reconsider their decision.
