There was a Congressman who actually proposed legislation to have chips inserted in people's heads to track them. This is the path to totalitarianism and it's all about funding and nothing else. The camera lobbies pay politicians, the municipalities get capital and citizens become victims of an insidious plot to take away our democracy.

There is real danger of slamming someone in the rear. You are in two minds either to break suddenly are to speedup, because of the nervousness with these lights. Even people like me who are very careful get nervous and do the wrong thing because of the uncertainty. Once you get one ticket this bad habit multiplies as you try to be more aggressive not to get caught-up.

I have been involve in these situations few times, where my child was pushed forward on the car seat because of sudden break.

If you are caught by an officer, it is fair and square and you will also get stern conscious warning into your phsyque, not to do it next time. If you are in camera, you don't know when it happened and so it wont register to the brain.

A few of these in important junction is probably justifiable, but in Nassau they are way too many. Not sure where all the tax money is going, instead we are subjected to these cheap tactics. And what about those ridiculous fees, who comes up with these, how can people have a say in this. Is it democracy?
