1) Vivas Lend Lease purchased the site knowing that there was a 5 storey height restriction, and now they propose 8 storeys. This is flagrant disregard for the council's design guidelines should not be tolerated.
2) There is a gross underestimation of the car parking that will be required. As a resident of a nearby street who already struggles to find a park, the influx of visitors will be too much!

For a start it is a breach of the 2008 design principals. Already there is not enough parking for its own residents, let alone

Eight storeys is totally inappropriate for this area as local residents will lose their privacy by being overlooked, not to mention shadowing. In my view a maximum of three stories would be appropriate. Individuals building townhouses are generally lmited to two storeys. Why should developers get special treatment?
Clearly the proposed development will worsen existing traffic/parking problems.
