Why don't you use a closer school, one where you kids can walk? Or take the issue up with the school - they're getting your money after all!

Currently, it can be hazardous driving up and down due to parked cars and exiting onto Bowthorpe Road can take considerable time due to continuous levels of traffic on this road. Many trees will be felled if the planned building work takes place. It would be better if any designs could incorporate the existing trees, especially as there seems to be plenty of space to accommodate this.

My children attend a school on Bowthorpe Road and I am already worried about the amount of traffic and speed at which they travel on Bowthorpe Road, and also re. the problems this additional problems this may cause with parking.
I also strongly object to the cutting down of the large tree.

It is beautiful in summer. With more thought, they could build a care home that is peaceful, pleasant and fitting well with its suroundings. Not this large complex though. I think the elderly residents will want more open grounds and relatives more room to park. With the big increase in traffic, I am worried that fire engines will need to use their sirens all along Ivy Road, disturbing both ourselves and the elderly residents.

I am happy for a carehome but at 94 beds it is far too big, putting unacceptable pressure on Ivy Road. The office is not needed. The access drive position should be moved away from the firestation and parking much improved. Why have NELM not consulted us?
