I am shocked to find that the Kennel club promote the horrific trade in dogs by registering puppy mills which use female dogs to breed and then either destroy them or dump them. This is an abominable industry and the club should raise money and awareness to help these poor unfortunate creatures. In addition the breeding of dogs to favour certain characteristics such as pugs with such tiny noses that they cannot breathe easily is a case of legitimised animal cruelty, mixed breeds should enter.
