As a volunteer of the National Inventory of Canadian Military Memorials project that is attempting to record every military memorial across Canada, I know how many communities never had the means to remember those lost during the wars. A national Memorial Wall will allow those who have been forgotten to once again be remembered.

This form of Memorial will be unique in the world and will do justice in the proper honouring , recognizing and remembering.
We all promise to Remember Them at remembrance services, Those that do not have their grave markers in Canada have not been properly recognized as yet and this is a duty we all owe.

Laudable efforts have been made to honour our fallen in foreign countries where they fell, howeven no national monument exists in Canada where those who cannot travel overseas can pay their respects, give thanks and acknowledge all of the names of those who gave so much for us all.

One's name is so important we put them on sports trophies walks of fame etc.

A memorial with the ... names...of those who have fallen is important.
