Years have gone by and love for this new generation of pokemon has come to a complete halt because Nintendo refuses to touch on the grassroots that made their series a phenomenon. I'm not saying that misty should get in a romantic relationship with ash, but please just bring her back to the show. The fans miss her tomboy personality, her looks, her passion, and determination to win. She is just an amazing character that the fans want to see in more episodes and to think she would go away and not be seen for another 11 years is sickening. She is the symbol of little girls not being afraid to act like boys sometimes and I think bringing her back would have fans across the world crawling back to the anime. So Nintendo (if you ever get this) please think about the fans and the people that supported your show for 21 years and bring back one of pokemon's most beloved characters, we miss her and just want get that feel of what the old anime was like back in the late 90s.

And yeah I am a pokeshipper and love pokeshipping, but I also know that ash won't be with anyone (*although if he does get with anyone, I really think he'd be with misty*) until, like, the end of the show. I would love to see Misty traveling with ash again (*like Ash, Cilan, Iris and her*).

She traveled with her friends across the Kanto region, Orange Islands and Johto region and sometimes they could visit at the Hoenn region. Also, at the Cerulean Gym and she has the sensational sisters known as Daisy, Violet, and Lily. While they on the Sinnoh Region and Unova Region, she can taking care of the gym and always taking care of the water-type Pokemon. I remember that she has a singing voice on this album Pokemon Christmas Bash. She is a friend and former traveling partner and also a Protagonists. The new girl iris can't compare to Misty plus may and dawn weren't that good. the ones that were lucky to watch the original series of pokemon and I include myself in that miss her very much.

Although iris is good I think Misty would just be the ultimate companion apart from pikachu because without either of them then you don't have a franchise.

Also if you do bring Misty back atleast have her a bit older and much more experienced plus make ash older too because he's been stuck at 10-11 for about 15 years.

Misty at the end of the original series really wanted to continue but had to go look after the gym and since her sisters are back then they should take over the gym and not leave everything for Misty to do.

Also if you are going make another region for ash to go too then be sure to include Misty as a travel companion and we should also see ash's dad as well.

About all these shippings between ash and different female characters the only one that stood out was Misty's.
