I have the same name and am a Vietnam Veteran. I served with the 801st Maint Bn, 101st Airborne. Woods' chopper was shot down about a week after I reported to the 801st. His company was based out of Camp Eagle, a few companies over from the 801st where I served. Get over the damn politics and go find them. Forty five years is too long.
