I felt that it looked so medical and professional. I remember in the military hospitals and clinics that they were the bright spot in an otherwise frightening situation. I am aware that the new clothing does in NO way reduce the nurses skill or attractiveness to a patient that needs help. That includes me. I would also like to see Doctors in white smoks with their name on them.

In the US patients complain all the time because they can't distinguish RNs from nursing assistants, domestic staff, dietary staff or anyone else, especially from a distance.
I have been a visitor in a hospital in Ireland recently and the nurses looked unkempt and sloppy. One had long hair hanging down her back and the legs of another nurses scrubbs were dragging on the floor.
