In this case I feel very strongly that this officer should be punished to the full extent of the law, regarding inhumane treatment of animal, at the least. If it were up to me he would be prosecuted on the grounds of neglect and murder. I pray that the justice system realizes how great his crime truly is.

I keep my animals indoors and never go to bed without ensuring that each one is safe for the night. When my dogs are in the backyard, I never leave them out long and and watch over them. I view my animal companions as gifts...to be treasured and protected.
