He has to be drugged just to get through the night. How can such a dangerous and intrusive past time be allowed to continue without proper regulations?. You only have one Xmas day, one New Years Eve etc so why do we have a month of fireworks for one occasion. The police can arrest people for public order offences surely setting off fireworks other than on Bonfire Night is a public order offence due to the detrimental impact they have on people and animals. Also not forgetting natural wildlife that must be affected.
