I currently have 3 pit bulls. 2 of which were rescues and 1 was a gift. I have educated my boyfriend on these dogs. I've even educated friends who thought all pit bulls were mean and they hate cats and are just vicious animals. I hate that these dogs are judged so harshly. That if 1 pit bull does bites someone the news will report it over and over again but if a lab or chihuahua bites someone you might hear about it one time but more than likely you won't hear about it at all. This is plain out wrong! Most people are taught not judge people by the color of their skin but we aren't taught to not judge a dog by its breed. Which is again just plain wrong!! Open your eyes and do some research you'll learn that I'd given the chance a pit bull will steal your heart. You'll understand why people who own theses dogs and advocate for them love them as much as we do!
