Fluoridated water does just the opposite, and is very harmful to our bodies and causes many health problems, to numerous to go into at this time. Plus, the harmful effects it has to our children, just goes off the scale.

Since you are the Chair of the Dallas Quality of Life and Environment Committee, I feel sure you already know the health hazards fluoride and if you don't, then you, as Chair of this committee, need to look past the false propaganda that you have been feed over the years and get educated on all the harmful effect that fluoridated water causes.

I would like to request Council-Member Sandy Greyson, Chair of the Dallas Quality of Life and Environment Committee to schedule a Open Public Hearing on Fluoridation. This hearing should have allotted time for public comment and experts should be invited.

We expect the Dallas Water Utilities to be invited to answer questions. The Quality of Life and Environment Committee members should require the Dallas Water Utilities to support their statements with documents.

The organizations and doctors supporting fluoridation should be invited These pro-fluoridation advocates should be required to substantiate their claims especially the often quoted "fluoridation is safe and effective".

We request this meeting to be live streamed, including the video screen and audio if used in a presentation. We expect this meeting to take place in less than 90 days.

Mother's milk has no fluoride in most samples. The developing brain is harmed with fluoride.

No Federal or State Agency accepts jurisdiction for determining both safety and efficacy at any dosage or with any label. All point their fingers at each other.

FDA withdrew approval for fluoride supplements because the evidence for efficacy is incomplete.

EPA is prohibited by Congress from putting anything into water with the intent to treat people.

CDC does not determine safety.

HHS and PHS only advise, they do not have jurisdiction.

Give people freedom. Other sources of fluoride are available by swallowing a pea size of toothpaste, foods, medications, etc.

Dosage is not controlled. Some drink 10 times more wtaer than the average person. That means they get 10 times more fluoride.

It is time to stop fluoridation. Where fluoridation has stopped, dental caries do not go up.
