Mrs. Kathleen Smith, Alpharetta, Ga, United States of America
This seems to go against the current Milton req. that make new subdivisions & businesses connect so folks don't have to use the main highways to get to another location. The homeowners knew that these roads were pass-thrus when they purchased the house, does that mean those of us not in subdivisions that provide the "Milton look" will again be punished by having to deal with more traffic on our roads?

Mrs. Kathi Cook, Alpharetta, ga, United States of America
Connectors are important to remain open to the public. Gating will set a precedent for other connectors to be private and limit the Milton roadway system. We are all impacted by traffic and gating will only worsen the conditions for other residents. This should be an Engineering decision based on if the roadway provides a benefit to Milton residents versus gating for the interest of one subdivision. Traffic calming is a better solution.

William Schellhorn, Milton, GA, United States of America
Privatizing roads is not in line with the rural, “open” vision Milton has adopted at its foundation. Crooked Creek has been a planned thoroughfare since before the first home owner bought the first home. Closing Crooked Creek will make worse the already overloaded traffic burden on Cogburn, Hopewell and other roads in the area. In lieu of closing roads, we need to plan and aggressively enforce safe traffic flow in Crooked Creek, and on every other street in Milton.
