Mrs Zack Eleftheriadou, London, United Kingdom
It is an important response from The Afiya trust and should be taken seriously. BME communities need more respresentation and closer working relationships to tackle some of these gross inequalities. The situation we have in Britain is multi-cultural and multi-faith and in my view it has 'not failed' as stated by the government, but there is still much to be done by working directly with different racial and cultural groups and mental health centres that represent different peoples.

Mr Abdigani Yussuf, London, United Kingdom
I absolutely agree with this response given by Afiya and ROTA. I think if we need to empower BME communities, we need to be increasing their representation at decision making tables. On the other hand, we need to put more emphasis on tackling some of things that determe BME groups poor health outcomes including chronic unemployment, poor housing and higher crime rates.
