OUR STATE OF CT NEEDS AN EFFECTIVE 3 STRIKES AND YOU'RE OUT LAW COINCIDING WITH ZERO TOLERANCE POLICING... BURGLARY MUST BE INCLUDED!

A burglary, a crime which could result in the theft of something having little or no value, is perceived as being unjustly included as one of the three "strikes." However, burglary often involves breaking into others' houses, and burglars often resort to violence when they encounter the family members unexpectedly.

On July 23, 2007, two convicted burglars out on parole (Joshua Komisarjevsky and Steven Hayes) were accused of killing three family members during a home invasion and arson in Cheshire, Connecticut. They each had more than 20 prior burglaries on their records. If Connecticut had adopted an effective three-strikes law, this kind of brutal crime committed by burglars could have been prevented.

After the violent troubling events that took place in our hometown of Cheshire, Ct, the people of this state need to take a stand and voice their opinions to politicians who can do something about it.

Theuns Kruger and Frans du Toit, who'd left her for dead, were both sentenced to life behind bars in August 1995.

However, in terms of legislation which came into effect in June last year, all prisoners who were sentenced to lifelong imprisonment before 2004 and have already served 13 years and four months, can apply for parole.

Du Toit and Kruger raped Alison, stabbed her more than 30 times with a knife and tried to slit her throat 16 times. She was left for dead in the veld. They'd told the Port Elizabeth High Court that the devil made them do it.

Alison's aorta and larynx were not severed, which enabled her to breathe. She had to gather her intestines and tuck them into her shirt while she held her head on her body with her other hand.

She staggered to the nearest road, where a medical student saw her and rushed her to the Port Elizabeth Provincial Hospital.

The following morning Du Toit and Kruger used the bloodied knives with which they'd slashed Alison to butter their bread.

Kruger, who is doing his time in Pretoria, appeared before the parole board on December 14 and is said to be bragging to other inmates that he will be out of there soon.

Puleng Mokhoane, the Free State spokesperson for correctional services, said Du Toit had appeared before the parole board at the Grootvlei prison in Bloemfontein on January 10.

Frightened

She said the "necessary procedures" would be followed.

Alison had not been aware of the possible parole for Kruger and Du Toit before being contacted by the media.

She said she was extremely shocked as she'd already applied last year to appeal against their possible release should parole be considered.

"I now realise that I'd clung to a false sense of security and never even considered the possibility that they could be freed.

"I will be frightened if they are released and I would very much like to be part of their parole hearing."

Sonwabo Mbananga, the minister of correctional services' spokesperson, said parole applications were not granted or turned down by parole boards.

They are merely part of an "administrative process" after which the case is referred to the National Council of Correctional Services, where factors such as the Judge's comments during sentencing, psychological reports and the prisoner's rehabilitation are considered.

The final decision rests with the minister, Mbananga said.

A video showing a teenage girl getting bashed by eight thugs and the initial police inaction has shocked the country.

The Attack On Mik

The video shows a 16-year-old girl getting punched and repeatedly kicked by a pack of thugs as she sat passively trying to protect her head. Although the beating took place at Southern Cross Station in broad daylight, no one intervened.

The victim's mother told me the savage thugs also dragged her daughter off the bench and stomped on her off-camera.

The photos of Mik taken after the attack were as heartbreaking as the video. She suffered broken ribs, two black eyes and severe bruising all over her body.

Thankfully, physically she will recover. As for the emotional and mental damage, it's impossible to know.

Mainstream Media and Police

The mainstream media refused to give the story any airtime because it didn't suit their narrative. As a result, the Police had almost no pressure to open an investigation. They claimed to the distraught mother, that "without a victim statement, they can't do anything".

Mik says she is too scared to make a statement. She has real fears of retaliation by her attackers.

So I was forced to step in and do the mainstream media's job for them. I posted the shocking footage that has since gone viral.

In response: Victoria police now say they have officially opened an investigation, even without the victim's statement.

But behind her beautiful smile, she was hurting inside. Hurting enough to end her life. She was 15. She has left behind a ripple of devastation and pain amongst family and friends. This was all because of bullies. Bullies are murderers. They cause pain and hurt and to make someone feel so low and worthless that they take their own life, is utterly disgusting. This is happening more and more among young people these days. It needs to stop! It needs to be a crime.

The hurt and suffering that has been caused through Morgan taking her own life is unbearable. I ask you to sign this petition to support this. I feel more needs to be done about bullying and it needs to be addressed on a much larger scale.

We have lost a precious young lady who meant so much. It's sad that she's been made to feel so low to do this. We can't let this keep happening. It needs to be a crime.

At present under Scottish Criminal Law, there is no mandatory sentencing for persons found carrying knives or other dangerous weapons in public. What possible defence can an individual give for carrying a knife at night in towns and cities across the country? And yet this practice goes on, detected but often unpunished.

A change in the law would be a major step towards eradicating the knife-culture that prevails in our society. It will allow ordinary law-abiding citizens to start to reclaim the streets from the knife-wielding thug.

Many confusing tips and leads came in and they were told that the Military was actively searching which included the entire base being searched with no luck. On November 3rd Dakota's Mother received that horrible call no mother should ever receive. Dakota had passed. She was told that he was in a horrible accident and had been on base the entire time. The case is still under investigation, and there are no answers as to what exactly happened.

You probably don't know Airsoft because it is illegal in Australia. There is no reason for them being illegal other than there 'Dangerous' and look like the 'real' thing which is stupid because

1) All sports are dangerous Bike Riding, Soccer, Rugby etc

2) Cap guns look like the real thing as well so why are they not banned.

I don't intend to get a real gun anytime soon at all so why cant i have fun no im not a adult so i believe that EVERYONE should be able to play with these toys.

Not everyone is a killer, Murderer so why do you ban it from us the criminals are always gonna have Airsoft guns no matter how you Prohibit them so why don't you let the good guys for once help us bring this sport back to Australia.

Ok so we have 361 petitions and the government havn't done a thing about it I say "We do something about it". No I don't mean get 361 angry petitioners storm into the parliament house but if we get "361 angry petitioners to write letters to the government outsmarting them the law might be changed and if they decide to go "well there's 21 million people in Australia and only 361 people have signed well the 21 million people don't even know the sport because of the government thinking there going to all go on Airsoft Massacres.

I also know that if we all just sign this petition and not create new ones that "WE WILL" get far more signs rather then keep creating new ones that just destroy other petitions tell all your friends about this EVERYONE.

Well i thought id let you guys know im still here and im definitely still keeping this an active petition, were also getting an average of 1-2 petitions a day tell EVERYONE about this so we can get our sport back. I mean Queensland should have Airsoft bye December 2008

UPDATE 3: 1st Of May 2008

Well at the moment there is nothing much to report about the legalisation of Airsoft (except QLD as stated in Update 2) I was just thinking recently, what if we all banned CRICKET BATS (not gonna happen) but i mean wouldnt they get annoyed if we banned cricket bats and said there dangerous because you can slam someone over the head and knock them out but then they say "We dont use them to hit people!?! we use them to play cricket" same as us Airsofters we dont want to kill people. We simply want to play our sport and have a great time.

UPDATE 5: 6th of August 2009

I sincerely apologise for the lack of updates within the year, because of technical issues I was unable to log into the site. It has become apparent that John C. Hanlos of Airsoft Australia has been battling cancer and has just returned this year to take up the fight to legalise airsoft in Australia. For those of you that want to know how many signatures I will want to receive before I make a proposition, I am aiming at the 20,000 mark.

Thats it for now I am aiming for another update in another 2 weeks time.

These complaints went mostly ignored, until now.

From the moment Coronavirus hit our shores, healthcare workers in hospitals across the country report shortages of important Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

It turned out; these same gangs were buying our medical supplies in January and shipping them back to places like Wuhan in the height of the outbreak.

Like baby formula, Australian medical supplies are in huge demand due to our exceptionally high standard of quality control.

But China lied to us. The CCP knew how dangerous the virus really was, and instead of warning us to prepare, they cleared us out of essential products we would need to protect ourselves.

And when it finally hit us, they sold us FAULTY "made in China" protective equipment. The same masks, gloves and test kits they avoided using during the outbreak in Wuhan.

McDonald then turned the weapon on a second off-duty Cleveland Police Officer, John Apanites Jr., killing him with four bullets.

McDonald (who had 37 prior arrests) was eventually apprehended, tried, convicted, and sentenced to death. However, because the U.S. Supreme Court threw out all death penalties wholesale in 1972, McDonald's sentence was commuted to life imprisonment.

Due to the State of Ohio's definition of life imprisonment, McDonald has an opportunity for parole in 2009.
