In Africa, Children with Disabilities are treated as outcasts, they are not loved, not cared for, not taken to school, no health services, their hopes to thrive in life is in jeopardy. 90 percent of Children with disabilities in developing countries do not attend school according to UNESCO. 80 percent of persons with disabilities live in developing countries according to UN Development Program.
Children with Disabilities are the most vulnerable group in Africa. They need our support.
We the undersigned call up on Africa governments to consider Children with Disabilities by providing Social Services especially Education, health services and economic empowerment to the families of Children with disabilities.
