Many locals now believe the parking along Springwell Lane in Northallerton is becoming scarce and over run by non-residence who are not willing to pay new parking charges in order to go to their town based jobs. It is becoming more difficult for residents without private parking spaces to find a space near their house. It is felt the road should become permit based allowing for only residents along that road to park. Springwell Terrace West and Springwell Terrace East should be included as they don't have roads outside their house, they rely on spaces on Springwell Lane.
We would therefore like the locals to come together and sign a petition which calls on North Yorkshire County Council to look at having permit parking for residents along Springwell Lane and adjoining Terraces.
