Talking to many people we are hearing of their experiences in switching to the NBN no matter whether it is with Telstra or any of the other providers. Our personal experience is with Telstra ( a customer for the past 15 years). Did the change over on Wednesday 5 July and have not had a landline telephone service since. Several telephone calls to Telstra with 12 digit reference numbers provided each time, which mean absolutely nothing, and completion of an online complaint form and all we are getting is text messages saying" we are working on your fault and hope to have it resolved by" .......... There must be so many other new NBN customers experiencing the same frustrations as we are? Can I seek your support to send the following petition to the Federal Government Minister for Communications?

We the undersigned put the Federal Government on notice as Owner of the NBN Company and as 51% Shareholders of Telstra, to get our act to together and provide the Residents of this Country with an efficient Internet and Telephone Service that is hassle free and devoid of incompetency on the part of Government and senior Telco Executives,
