On September 5, 2008, Tony was suspended from school for 10 days with possible expulsion for having a utility knife in his car. He had this tool in his car because he uses at his place of employment, Cub Foods after school and weekends.
Tony is a good kid with no behavioral issues and was completely unware that he was violating the school weapon policy. There was no intent to cause harm, just a mistake of leaving it in his car.
We the undersigned, family, friends, & supporters of Tony Richard call on the School Board of Anoka Hennepin District #11 to bring this student back to school immediately and to clear his record of any wrong doing.
