TWU's Denton campus has student and faculty mothers but no sanitary lactation room.
What we would like on campus is a breast pump facility that students and faculty alike can utilize.
A lactation room on campus is necessary for mothers who are breastfeeding and cannot be around their children. In the absence of their child, the mother needs to keep her milk supply established and this can be done by pumping.
Mothers who are on campus when they need to pump, need a clean place to do this in.
