I want to collect as many signatures as possible to urge the Canadian government to change the name of Vancouver's International Airport to Terry Fox International Airport.
Terry Fox is a true Canadian hero who was raised in British Columbia. His crusade to raise money for cancer research has raised more money than that of any other individual, in the world.
His fund-raising runs now take place all over the world. Renaming our airport is an honour he deserves. It would be a wonderful and lasting way to remember this brave young man.
We, the undersigned, are asking the Canadian Government to change the name of Vancouver's International Airport to Terry Fox International Airport.
