Background (Preamble):
Earth Day -- April 22 -- each year marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970.
There are too many plastic bags being thrown away when they are only used once.
Besides, plastic bags cannot be broken down easily and contributes to global warming.
We should ban the use of plastic bags and start appreciating reusable bags!

Petition:
We demand that Administration of NWFP Agricultural University Peshawar act`s now to stop the sale of Plastic Bags in the shops within the premises of University as a part of our contribution to stop global warming on Earth Day.
This is the least we can do. I request all of you to sign this petition and your names will be written in the Golden Words in History.
We, the undersigned, call on the Vice Chancellor & Administration of NWFP Agricultural University Peshawar to ban the use of plastic bags with in the University Premises and reusable bags are to be used instead.
