STOP PETROL STATION ON FISCHER STREET TORQUAY
An application (no. 16/0125 - 1160 Horseshoe Bend Rd, Torquay), has been submitted to the Surf Coast Shire for plans to build a petrol station on Fischer St. The public exhibition for this planning permit concluded on the 24th of June but it can still be assessed.
Please sign this petition ASAP and also submit a Objection Form to Surf Coast Shire.

The proposed petrol station on Fischer St in Torquay is an unnecessary addition to the commercial precinct that is currently been constructed in the Dunes Estate.
Petrol stations belong on the Highway, not in the backstreets of Torquay. Let's keep Torquay beautiful and charming.
Clearly a petrol station has no place and provides no benifit to the Dunes and Quay area. Below is a list of reasons why we need to stop this development.
· Extra traffic and noise
· Devaluation of properties in the adjoining area
· An eye sore
· There is an abundance of more appropriate sites a stones throw away from the proposed site.
We the undersigned, call on the Surf Coast Shire to reject application no. 16/0125 - 1160 Horseshoe Bend Rd, Torquay and ensure that the construction of a petrol station is not permitted on Fischer Street Torquay.
